I’m assuming when it walks on one line the spider can feel it and as soon as it touches 2 at once the spider knows it’s close enough just by maths and geometry. Who taught it geometry? Who knows

Spiders are such amazing creatures. Every type has different way to hunt prey. Some use such traps, some do a proper planning, some mimic other creatures and things, some make dense web, some make another spider from debris to confuse predators, some have perfect camouflage, some stay inside water, some float on water, some know where to make webs or wait for prey to get more prey and many other things.
