Funny - this woman is actually pointing into the direct direction that NATO should NOT have expanded in the 90s and that there was a chance to create a real security system from Lissabon to Wladiwostok. Unfortunately Western Europe was always depending on the US and they didn't like this idea at all because otherwise NATO would have lost its reason for existence which is also based purely on US interest and on an exterior enemy to excuse the high expenditures for military and global hegemony.
