Land Cruiser SAS Conversion | UZJ100 + FJ80 AXLE

preview_player
Показать описание
In this episode we mate a FJ80 straight axle to a UZJ100, essentially making a US spec FJ105.... kinda. The goal with this build was to keep it OEM+ using as many Toyota parts as possible—including front axle, steering box, and radius arms paired with aftermarket goodies such as Hell Fire knuckles, 12" coilovers and Dobinson's offset radius arm bushings.

Adam's( I'm assuming his name by the gloves lol) ability to arc gouge the complete IFS bracket off in one piece is... inspiring. Keep up the great work, I'm really enjoying your channel! Thanks so much for sharing!

Yes, the 105 series is super cool, but they still have the inline 6 engines. So in my opinion, the ultimate land cruiser would be what you guys are doing here: converting a 100 series with the 2UZ to solid front axle. This is rad!!

Seeing a 2007 with no rust is amazing, can't find that up here in the northeast. Giving this beast a 2nd life as a true offroader with sas & 37s... bless u all! Can't wait for the follow-up

Dude those welds look freakin awesome, and I'm always pumped to see more Toyotas with solid axles in the front.

If in the future the customer wants to get rid of the adapters can get later 70 series 5 lug wheel hubs, there is also a strength increase going from 8mm to 10mm studs for the locking/drive flange studs.

I would definitely buy a sas kit for this!! How 100’s should be from factory! FJ80’s are the best riding SUV’s ever!!

It would be cool to see an SAS conversion on a first gen Tundra/Sequoia.

if you put together a kit for Right Hand Drive you would get massive interest from australian and new zealand markets... the chassis differences make it frustrating but an off the shelf kit would be good especially for coil overs!
