The pump seems to be mainly for saltwater, but would this work in a 150g cichlid tank to help break the surface tension? Would 1 suffice?

I was all excited and was like oh my gosh this is amazing. But then I saw the prices for the KPS and KPM, 120 and 180 and was like nope. I get the "price of technology " is what I'm paying for but I'll just stick to my Hydor. Which is fine cause my Hydor hasnt let me down yet and it does the job just fine.

I have a 60 gallon reef aquarium and was planning to get a 2 new wave maker on each side for different flow in the tank. Would you recommend the KPS? And does the KPS come in different sizes?
