Launch Control in My Saab 9-3 Turbo X is CRAZY!

Today I use Launch Control for the first time on my 2008 Saab 9-3 Turbo X! This car does NOT come with this feature from factory, and is part of the JZW stage 1 tune I have on the car. Who's excited for the mods I have coming?? Leave a comment down below.

Finally got my 1999 aero sorted! The original catalytic had broken and blocked the exhaust! Pulls like a train! I'm so happy!

Love the sound of the Turbo X, launch from standing still is difficult. Have done several starts from stand still (around 10 with performance equipment) on my FWD Hirsch tuned 9-3 so hard to get it to "stick" perfect easy to loose en second in start. Great video and car!

Aaah i can hear JZW use a Throttle body launch control! Works but cool/function factor is low! . Just readout the .bin and send it to me.. and i will send back same bin with ignition launch control. If you press the button on the dash with the it will enable launchcontrol.... rpm can be set as you wish! OR i can send you stock bin with launch control /Swede

Realistically everything launch control would damage is the clutch. If anything else breaks, it would have been failed soon anyway.

I want to see this car get 300, 000 miles. Most people think I’m crazy but my car has 317, 700 miles right now. Yes it’s a Toyota but I believe if he takes care of this Saab it will lady that long especially being in Arizona.

Liked! I dont even dare to push the throttle more than 80% or so because of the same fear. I have 9-5 NG Turbo 4 with maptun performance. I think, it's only 1 stage for turbo 4 bio power, that I have.

Dont try it usually with a tune, without launch control it won't have a rev limiter bc of tune deletes it

I always thought it weird that they only have launch control on the manual versions and not the autos. A manual car does not need launch control at all. As a manual car driver you can launch it really easily by revving it to 4k rpm if awd and quickly releasing the clutch (dumping is awful and can make you bog at the start like happened here) and off you go.

Automatics are the ones in need of launch control because their default is a 2-2.5k rpm launch if anything. So to launch at a higher RPM launch control would help. Correct me if i'm wrong and they have launch control on autos for the saab, from what I have seen it's only been in manual vehicles.
