The helmet on the Zora armor is meant to simulate the heads of Zora like Mipha

I like to think that the tunic of the wild was so small because so many of the heroes were children so the tailor just assumed Link would be really short

Unpopular opinion but I actually really like the rubber armor and think it looks really cool overall. And the foam is insulation to help keep from getting shocked lol. Im just continually impressed with how much thought they put into the armor design in the game. If you think it thru there’s some pretty good reasons for every choice they made for the armor in the game

The Shika set's feet are meant to take inspiration from Shinobi attire from Feudal Japan

With the Goron armor set, to make it look the slightest bit better, I wear the helmet and pants with the climbing tunic. Infinitely better than whatever that torso is.
