I like the size but I do like them even larger. We just got a 98 inch. It’s incredible but this TV mini LED don’t care for the blooming. It does have blooming issues with LEDs. You do have dead pixel issues. Also ifis edge lit your dark scenes May struggle not for me. I would definitely choose OLED also just to clarify burn in is not an issue with OLED TV at all

As a YouTube video producer / designer... I was SO close to getting a 77 inch OLED LG... BUT because we use static elements and I do test on my current TV (often for a few hours at a time), and I do a lot of gaming in the evenings, the burn in factor kept going around in my mind. I think this TV is the biggest compromise available and probably perfect for my needs, your review has swung it for me. Whilst I love the look of an OLED, the burn in fear would eat at me.

8k is alot of processing power, does it get hot? So I assume it running 60HZ refresh? The spec statesd 120HZ but I doubt it in 8K? since that would mean 16 times processing the 4k, . thanks

Is this a really good 8K TV not one that just upscales 4k really good? Will whatever 8k material is available will it truly be 8K? I heard some comments about 8k tvs not upscaling 4k very good. What's your thoughts?

Could be beautiful for gaming, but I thought I read it does NOT have VRR. So a slight ding if that's true.

I think most people that give negative comments about QNED lineup just didn't see TV at all. Or blindly thrash it because of ADS panel.

About colour accuracy, at the 90 second mark you said "SDR pre-calibration it was quite far out" !!
(Question 1) WHY are expensive TV's like this NOT colour calibrated properly out of the box?
(Question 2) WHAT does the manufacturer expect us average Joe's to do in order to correct this?
(Question 3) WHY does the manufacturer's warranty on expensive TV's only cover a pierce poor 1 Year period?

Hi there, I've recently just bought this TV in the UK and instantly noticed bad dirty screen effect. Is there ways to fix this or do I need to call out LG to repair it or is it down to the store I got it from to exchange it? Or, will they just say it's down to the technology 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great review! I have a feeling RTINGS would’ve had a better review if they had reviewed the 75 or even 86 version. I thought their score while good should’ve been higher for the QNED99 based on what I’ve heard from other reviewers including yours.

The dark scenes look like an oles the thing is these new ips panels with mini led have this oled like glow and I love that like things just pop off the screen like an oled lol the Samsung qn85a has the same effect

This 8K TV is amazing 75QNED99 with great deals. My only concern is the vesa mount screws they are so small. Can these hold up to the Job.. any suggestions 🤔
