These videos are fantastic!!! I've been wanting to get my kids into Arduino for ages, but the board, wires and components are a little intimidating. Building the lab in Tinkercad first takes away that fear. The girls could experiment quickly and try changing the setup before going to the real thing. having modelled the setup themselves also takes away the fear of complex wiring diagrams.
I love the Scratch programming interface and that you an just copy/paste the code into the Arduino. This allows them to keep using their scratch knowledge and expose them to code without needing to hand code it on day 1.

Can the output of Tinkercad's serial monitor be directed to a real hardware COM port, or a virtual com port, perhaps? I.e. can a simulated Arduino send serial data outside the PC it's simulated on?

I have one problem with the potentiometer in tinkercad, I cannot turn the knob because I’m using an ipad, it just moves the potentiometer, is there any way i can adjust the knob of the potentiometer in ipad?
