This was RDJ in peak popularity as Tony Stark.
Right out of the first Avengers, when he was already recognisable enough to be associated to Iron Man, and when his character was still the best thing ever in an MCU that was still relatively small.

When the character was seemingly immortal and his path was full of unexplored possibilities.

A number of years later, he still is the best. But after watching Endgame, you can't help just feeling nostalgic.
