My husband got me a kindle years and years ago. At first I was hesitant because I like holding books. However I started to use it more and more to the point where I read digitally (ebooks or audiobooks) 99% of the time. I don’t still use the kindle itself, but the app on my phone since that thing is always in my hand anyway lol

i'm in two minds to get a kindle, i am not a fan of them and i really enjoy a physical copy of a book but i can see the upside to reducing clutter and getting back space

I got a Kindle a few months ago. I know there are books I'll want to have physical copies of, but being able to have that on hand (especially the instant purchase) is great

Congrats on clean and fresh bookshelves, we love to see it! Also, I totally understand switching over to a digital format of reading books. That's part of the reason why I bought my e-reader two years ago, so I didn't have to keep buying physical copies of books that were taking up space. Even borrowing more books from the library has kept more money in ma bank haha

I agree that if you want to read a book it doesn't mean you necessarily need to buy a physical copy as there are more ways to do it like e-books, audiobooks and also taking books from libraries.
