The Sona has a 2 stage⁣
battery door. Press down on⁣
the battery door tab until the⁣
the door opens sightly (as shown⁣

This stage will power⁣
off the unit to save battery,⁣
while ensuring that the battery⁣
doesn’t fall out of the device.⁣
