A few words on Gerd:
Gerd Gigerenzer is the Director of the Harding Center for Risk Literacy at the University of Potsdam and Director emeritus at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. Previously a professor at the University of Chicago, he is a member of several prestigious academies, including the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Gigerenzer has received numerous awards for his contributions to behavioral sciences, including the AAAS Prize and the German Psychology Award. He is the author of popular books like Calculated Risks and Risk Savvy, translated into over 20 languages, as well as influential academic works on decision-making and risk. Gerd has also trained U.S. federal judges and top managers in understanding risks and uncertainties.
