And five months out, they better be giving me enough credit for my airfare, too.

If you canceled my cruise and offered me that I would happily take my money to another cruise line. That would make me stop being loyal to Royal. They deserve a discount as well

Would the private charter be to some oil rich Arab billionaire that can afford to screw up 5000 little guy's plans or would it be some Russian oligarch billionaire? Either way, the cruise line doesn't give a darn about the loyal customers, if they give priority to "more influential" powers.

I am not sure having one's cruise canceled to give way to a charter is good for business. You have to ask "What else would they do to me..."

And what about folks flights. Thats not right. Seems like you gotta have insurance to cover yourself for company greed and not just illness and death.

I would want no less than a full refund PLUS whatever I lose on the flights PLUS 100% future cruise credit.

These cruise lines who continue to do this, need to have a ship specifically for charters only! This is becoming increasingly annoying, and a severe nuisance to passengers who spend alot of time planning vacation time, and get NOTHING!

My guess is a big company chartered the ship and paid the cruise line a bonus amount over the regular fare to book it for that specific date. Money Talks you know.

Full refund? All right, but Id never sail with them again. Five months is sufficient for me to plan an alternate vacation at the same time.

This is not the first time booked a cruise and they said that it was private booked did not want to give us back our deposit I’m like I’m no you canceled it not me we got it back I’m yeah

Omg I’m booked for April 20th for a 14 day cruise on the oasis so I’m confused how a 3 day sailing with oasis was ever even booked as the ship would’ve never been there from the get go as we are going to Barcelona

I would be so disappointed, usually we coordinating several things. The timing, what countries we want to visit, plane fare, cruise price.
But at least they gave us sometime. But it will probably cost us way more than what we planned.
