SSF21 - Chain Breakers Panel 2

Показать описание
The International Labor Organization estimates there are more people in slavery today than the previous two centuries, combined (ILO Report 2017). Slavery continues to exist in every country, and in our modern day supply chains- but so do abolitionists.
Chain Breakers is a new speaker series and digital exhibit that empowers individuals and companies to act against forced labor by benchmarking industries, sharing transparent Supply Chain strategies, and introducing a myriad of tools and technology to overcome modern day labor injustices in various forms.
This second panel includes presentations by John Wisneski, W.P. Carey School of Business, Michelle Cirocco, Televerde and Televerde Foundation, and Darren Chapman, Tiger Mountain Foundation, on Human Transformation: Ethical Penal Labor and Community Reform.
This event is free to all. Chain Breakers is a part of the 2021 Sustainability Solutions Festival, presented by the ASU Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service and the Rob and Melani Walton Foundation.
