The Greatest Show is the title track from the movie The Greatest Showman. It includes many of the motifs from the major stories throughout the film, including Barnum's dream earlier in life and Carlyle's tie to Wheeler. The song plays out over an American period drama, depicting the rise of the Barnum & Bailey Circus.

From a purely aesthetic perspective I find something about this song strangely satisfying. Visually it's not organized to the point that it's systematic and boring. But it's also not so completely sporadic or inordinate that it becomes overwhelming. It just makes sense, like a force of nature, there's no sentiment of imbalance in it's equilibrium. It's comforting to me.
