Since becoming friends with VH-UWB I have been lucky enough to take myself on some pretty cool little adventures around the countryside.
In min Jan I rang up a friend who lives on the NSW south coast near Nowra and said I was coming over. I then looked up the closest ALA or Aerodome to his house and found Jaspers Brush, which is a little privately owned grass strip.
After trying to contact the owner in the days preseeding unsuccessfully I decided to just go for it and if it was unserviceable I would land at Nowra.
The strip was in great condition and no one was around. After parking the plane and heading to the beach I got a call back from the owner and discovered what type of beer he likes, so next time ill deliver some liquid landing fees. haha
