Dear Prof Turner, Thanks for sharing a valuable lecture. I have a query need your help: I saw in one paper, author used Chi square to test Yates correction factor to adjust small population size was used to test the goodness of fit for appropriate genetic hypotheses. Data on grain color in segregation (F2 ) populations: 85 red and 25 yellow were tested based on the hypothesis that it will fit to the expected ratios of 3:1. The results was: X2=0.14 and p-value: 0.7 <p< 0.68. Could you please tell me how they calculated that p-value range? Thanks in advance
