the square shape rack she uses is also great for hard boiled eggs. for like potato salad you need to put 10 hard boiled eggs lets say. bam. you do have to peel them unlike the potato.

Buy one of those plastic paint strainers (gallon size)... The strainer you'd use with a roller. I use it for potatoes, eggs etc...
And of course, don't use one you've used with paint...
