These shows were like a weird fever dream that sits with you in the back of your brain for years to come.

Nick completely failed BTR. If they had actually advertised that BTR was a actual boyband from the start instead of promoting the show and only the show, then maybe their final album wouldn't have flopped hard. Especially since it was the first album to be not Nick related. Big Time Rush was legit one of the best sitcoms that Nick owned and the only successful show that didn't have Dan Schneider's name on it at the time.

I met the guy who played Gustavo Roque back in 2011. I was ten years old, and he was an instructor at an acting boot camp for aspiring child/teen actors I was participating in. And one day after one of our sessions, we all decided to hit the mall and go on a shopping spree. During my time there, I forgot he was famous, but as soon as he stood in line at the food court, people were crowding around him, asking for autographs and having him recite lines from the show and stuff. It was so great!
