Slavs had a matriarchal hierarchy the Scythians where a Iranic tribe that bread with all sorts of peoples but retained their r1a haplogroup which is still found most prominently in Poland and northern Iran, modern Slavs are a mix of these peoples

There were several groups of Amazons - from North Africa, South America and on the island of Lesbos, located just opposite from Troas (now mainland Turkey). During the Trojan War, the Amazons were firm allies of the Trojans. Actually King Priam was a counsellor of Queen Hippolyta, who defeated Achilles in one on one combat. That was sometime during the decade long war of attrition, whereby many sheep and goats were stolen by Ajax.
