I dedicated this song to my daughter when I was finally in recovery for drugs and alcohol. Every word of this is how I still feel and my daughter and now her son continue to be the reason I stay clean and sober.

I listened to this the day my oldest son was born. When I got to hold him for the first time he opened his eyes and looked into mine. First words that came to mind he was telling me was “I need you hear daddy.” He closed his eyes and I laid him back down in his bassinet. I went to the bathroom. Flushed every pill I had on me and crushed every bottle after looking in the mirror and deciding enough was enough. I was addicted to pain killers and other pills. It’s been 8 years since and I’ve never looked back. My son is such an amazing kid. Always protects his siblings and includes them when he plays. All four of my kids saved me at some point in my life and I thank Jehova every day for them and their mother. My message to anyone struggling it does get better and there’s always someone out there who will listen.

My daughter dedicated this song to me years ago while I was driving her to school. I really didn't pay attention to it until now. She was on drugs, alcohol etc., I tried everything I could think of to help her. All I could do was to get on my knees daily for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to save her. Well, our lord and savior saved her, and she's happily married now. Thank you for such a touching song that hits the heart so beautifully!
