Thank you very much for this video. Yes, it’s a learning experience of a lifetime!
I’m 65 years from the Philippines. I have a business degree from the University of the Philippines, one of the most prestigious university in the country. I am a Certified Public Accountant. But I feel very insecure and lack of confidence. Honestly, my English communication skills in reading, speaking, writing, and listening, is below average. My vocabulary is inadequate. I can’t remember idiomatic expression. I am not aware of the rules on constructing a good sentence, nor the proper usage of punctuation marks. I my lifetime, honestly, have not finished reading a book. I have not written an essay nor articles in my professional life. I also do not have interest watching English movies, cartoons nor TV series. In TV, I always tuned in at sports channel because I’m an avid fan of professional golf and lawn tennis.
Today, I’m truly blessed and inspired to open your 2 videos. The about punctuation marks and how to improve my proficiency in English as a speaker and writer and etc.
This is the beginning of my English journey. The road is challenging but I am confident, with your guidance, I will be an excellent English writer and speaker someday.
