Not only are these tutorials helpful, your channel re-sparked my interest in learning programming. Since I started studying CS in college, I have wondered how people could enjoy writing code so much that it becomes their hobby. However, these tutorials for whatever reason have made me excited again about learning.

I have to say that I have paid to use Treehouse for some time now. While they have abundant and valuable content, the pace is a bit slow and the quizzes seem to be ineffective compared to just practicing immediately in a local Python environment. This is a much better experience, and I look forward to seeing that subscriber number climb for you.

A minor mistake in the video. Chris says that an integer and number are interchangeable. This is sometimes but not always the case. An integer is a whole number - it has no decimal points. A number may also be floating point which is a decimal 3.14159 for example hence a number isn't always an integer.

I like your videos. You take a very practical approach to explain things and thats very important for someone who is learning and it gives us a good insight how all these concepts roll up to the actual usage. Thanks a lot!! Please continue with these videos.

I just started trying to learn python but for now it has been going pretty well thanks to your videos, but now i've run into a problem where when i start the debug process the various commands on the top of the screen appear and disappear in a second and i can't stop it, while normally the command pallete should stay there.
Might you know how to fix it?

so, it means that a string can't have integers, and you need to change the integers into a string?

I think it stops on the first line because the launch.json has a value for stop on entry set to true if i'm not mistaken

What Python version are you using? If you are using python 3 you could mention the difference between integer and float division operator (/ vs //). It's a nice addition to the language.
