Driving Camp Bird Road in Colorado

One of the highlights on our road trip through Southwest Colorado was driving Camp Bird Road above Ouray Colorado.

Three people died recently on this "road" trail. So scenic, they plunged 240 down into the gorge. Their guide was ejected and ended up in the creek. His customers, from Arizona, were found in the vehicle which landed on it's roof. So sad.

I drove up there in my Honda Civic. A tour jeep had run out of gas when I was there at the mine.
