Fender Stratocaster Player vs Standard

Here is a shootout between my Fender Standard Strat MIM (purple) vs my Fender Player Strat (red).

Both guitars were played through the exact same settings - I used a Kemper Profiler with a Marshall style patch and recorded dry, with some small reverb and delay added after the recording in post production.

Both sound great but damn that sonic red with the beautiful fretboard! Pao Ferro definitely has its own beauty and has grown on me😁

The pickups on the Player strat are not stock. There are some markings/letters on them.

In this demo I prefer the more quacky nasally tone of the standard MIM but they both sound great. Awesome guitar playing dude!

I would like to have heard the guitar player comment on the which and why besides only listening to his good guitar work as I don't have the experience of spending time in a guitar shop and his opinion would be of a certain value and listening to this it seems that one can hear a slight difference but not enough to make a definite value judgment., Thanks for posting.

Definetly was a showdown, but I would not call it "The Ultimate". Fantastic playing, Kemper profile sounds sick. I came here to see a comparison though.

Both are great. I have the standard. Same one. Changed pickups to Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounds like the Richie Blackmore model. How ironic Jesse.. black night?! Great song choice!!
