The Dodd-Walls Centre is New Zealand’s national Centre of Research Excellence for Quantum and Photonic Technologies.
Hosted by the University of Otago, it brings together over forty top researchers and 120 graduate students from five universities to collaborate, develop technologies, train graduates and support new industries in New Zealand. For serendipitous reasons New Zealand leads the world in fundamental photonic and quantum technologies including new laser sources for telecommunications and enabling technologies for quantum computers.
