Показать описание
The new Sonus Faber Lumina II Amator is a souped-up version of the company's existing Lumina II loudspeaker. SoundStage! founder Doug Schneider recently received a pair of Lumina II Amators that had a special thing added to one of the speaker's back panels—signatures of the craftspeople who made the pair. In this short video, Doug shows that.

I'm considering buying either the original Sonus faber Lumina II or the Amator version which costs $800 AUD more. I know some people had a bit of an issue with the tweeter on the original, do you know if this was changed in the Amator version and disregarding the new faceplate, do you think they are worth the increase sound wise?

The luminas are great for cheap speakers, but nowhere near a collectible gear as i‘s simply a beginner speaker.

Well just because somebody signed something with a with a piece of white shark doesn't make it a collector's item. Just remember these speakers are produced by the tens of thousands and they're probably at least $20, 000 of these sitting in a warehouse somewhere doing nothing but gaining dust it cost the company less than 20% of what they're charging you to buy them
