When in the workshop, it can be very difficult to re-finish polished compound surfaces and produce a shiny finish. Using Proxxon cordless power tools it's possible to abrade material even in the narrow, hard to reach areas. Using the Angle Polisher or Tube Belt we can start with a coarse abrasive and work our way to a fine abrasive until we achieve a surface ready to polish. The cordless tools are versatile and can be used on a variety of materials predominantly wood but we have used it here to abrade an aluminium engine part.
