That explains why the random War master was such a badass. I recruited Hilda my first run, and having successfully avoided killing any of the other GD yet not seeing them here made me think she wouldn't show up, either.

I've completed Azure Moon twice and now I've started my 3rd time on Classic/Maddening, and honestly this route keeps getting better and better the more I find out. Comments on this video made me realise that Arundel IS Thales, and you basically wipe out TWSITD in this route without even knowing it, that makes completing Azure Moon feel a lot more satisfying.

I thought the “wow I missed that face!” Dialogue was unique to Hilda since I recruited her this run.

Btw if anyone thinks Lord Arundel's dialogue is odd here, it's because he is Thales. TWSID put themselves in ruling positions, and the Blue Lion squad inadvertently defeats them and basically puts an end to that faction's leadership, including Cornelia who is revealed to be TWSID in another path.


Sources are in-game dialogue regarding their sudden personality/behavior changes for these two characters, the library scene with Dimitri, and chapter 12 cutscene... "Give my uncle the signal".... cuts to Thales who just so happens to be fighting alongside the Imperial Army.

Lord Arundel is actually Thales, the leader of those who slither in the dark. He also caused the tragedy of Duscur with some help with Dimitri's stepmom. But this route never confirms these things so I was so messed up at first.
