The Mystery Shoe: Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro Beta

Will the Mizuno Neo Vista be dethroned? I ran the Amsterdam 2024 half marathon in Mizuno's Wave Rebellion Pro 3 and a few training sessions leading up to it. So here are my thoughts on how this shoe complements a runner's pace and of course a few areas that could be improved.

man finally Finally the best review ever! I run at your exact pace and I was worry to get those for the same reason you mentioned, the shoe is made for faster runners to get the best of them, as I say I love my Neo Vista and I feel good with them, and I have: On, Adidas, Hoka, Saucony and by far I feel I can replace all of them with just the Neo Vista! in a future when I get faster and stronger I for sure will get a Pro 3! Keep up the amazing videos man! and Pura Vida from Costa Rica!

Genuinely useful review, I felt the same for version 2 and I see nothing has changed in that respect. They are just too hard work to sustain the running style the shoe requires, but also when you do conform to that style yes its fast but not as fast as the very best race day shoes out there.

Great review. I think you can adjust your landing with a little effort so you aren't landing at an angle. Just picked up the shoe yesterday and plan on using it in marathon next week. I'm older (almost 60) but still can be around 2:47 for a marathon so speed isn't a problem. With that said, I won't be running on my toes and will be landing on the thickest part of the shoe :)

Great review aubrey, honest and u truly says which are the right runners for them. I am buying version 2 and I am waiting to see where they can keep me after all in a 10k, then at february I will ise them in a half marathon

Nice review, Aubrey👍 we are similar pace runners and I have version one which I absolutely love for all paces and distance. Just today bought another pair for £96 👍 as I can imagine they will be gone soon and the new versions as you said are more aggressive

This I why Aubrey is one of the best shoe-tubers. You can tell how some show their allegiance and are bias towards certain brands but he speaks the absolutely truth and gives his honest opinion...nothing but respect to him!

Great review. My local store I like to support is getting the Vistas in soon. I run around a 1:35 half marathon. Do you think the Pro 3's would be too aggressive or do I need to wait for Adidas pro 4?

Great review! I us3 V2 for long runs with tempo. Great shoe and leg saver for a 200 lb me. I am curious outside of the geometry difference (which I understand), is the midsole foam different in V3 vs V2?

I guess that could be a good idea to build the calves to be able to get the best of this Beta is to do the training in the Rebellion Flash 2 !
I love Mizuno, I got the Sky 8 and I had until recently the Wave Rider 27 ( will get the 28th, but next year). But I got to say that the Rebellion line is way too hardcore for most runners. I'm not sure if it is worth working out in these shoes, unless every other brand will start making weird geometric racing shoes like the Rebellion Pro ...

I had the v1 but just couldn't get on with it 😂 I get a bit sloppy and start to heel strike when I get tired over longer distances, and these shoes are not designed for that sort of laziness 😂
