Superb! No autotune. No plastic, soulless overproduction. Talent, craft, understated musicianship and technical prowess. And on top, raw emotional vocals.

I fell in love with boz skaggs in the 70's in jr high when i heard "dirty low down". He's so smooth and his voice is just different .

Boz has one of the finest voices anywhere. Great tone, fabulous phrasing, passionate voicing are the hallmarks of Boz Scaggs. Listening to him sliding into notes and then compressing the final note to reach your deepest soul. Boz plays a great guitar and is a superior songwriter. I saw him in the late 60s when he was with Steve Miller Blues Band as a founding member. His growth since then leaves him as an American Icon. He can touch a place inside that very few singers can. God bless Boz Scaggs.

This is not a song. It's an event in music history.

All respects to Fenton Robinson who wrote this song and never was fully recognized. He was certainly one of the greats.

The great thing about the Blues, … if it was played 20 years ago, today or in 20 years time it would still sound so so good

A favorite song of mine. My vinyl copy is over 50 years old, so I play my cd. Boz Skaggs and Duane Allman. This is a GREAT version.

First time I heard this masterpiece, and wonderful to hear and see my late boyfriend, Rich Armstrong playing on trumpet. RIP Rich Armstrong! 🙏❤️

This song introduced me to the blues when I was about 12. I'm 61 now and It still hits me deep inside every time. Saw him a couple of years ago in Grass Valley CA and he's still got it!

Was amazed by Boz Scaggs’ concerts in the 70s… and still today his soul’s music touches that spot in my soul. Thanks Boz. Fantastic!

My god, I can't believe I made it 57 years without hearing this performance. This is extraordinary.

Boz is a master of his voice and his guitar. I had no idea how talented he was as a guitarist, and now I have a newfound respect for him. Wow, just wow!
