S20 FE has a better camera. But the 9r camera is not "nail in the coffin". It is better than all the other phones upto this price range, second to just S20 FE. Except for that, 9R is better than S20 FE in all other aspects like design and display, build quality, battery and charging. And if you don't compare the camera samples, the 9R camera is pretty amazing.

My Oneplus 3T lasted 3 years and replaced with 7T only because of physical damage. My 7T has received a buggy android 11 and complaints didn't help. I identified deliberate downgrade of screen refresh rates and stuttering in A11 even after hotfix update (11.0.2). They are putting all their resources only on latest and greatest and leaving older phones. They are forgetting that many people buy flagships to use atleast 3-4 years. 7T will be my last oneplus. Recently I bought S20FE 5G and I m living peacefully now.

Got the oneplus cos I wanted the Oneplus in 2021.. Have been waiting for to get a OP since OP2 LOL! Happy with the OxygenOS have been an MI and Realme user until now. You covered all the points greatly! TechWiser subs to the moon!

7:25 The late Android update to 7T has heating issues, battery drain, slow charging and sometimes unresponsive UI.
It was so bad that I downgraded to Android 10. I really don't get the whole one handed usage of oxygen os 11, it's inconsistent...the settings menu is accessible buy thumb but once you tap an option say 'display' it is the same menus as OS 10.

I'm using op 9r, if camera is not what is your major thing. Go for it it's amazing the battery lasts around 12-13 hours with wifi and Bluetooth on and I usually spend my time watching shows on Netflix and it's amazing. Go for it guys

I've been in this dilemma myself. I've been wanting to switch since April with a budget of upto 50 K.

My main requirements - Clean OS experience, future proof phone (at least 3 years), Flagship level specs, HAS to be WORTH IT so I can even go with a 25-30K phone.

Now I was waiting for OnePlus 9r but it tanked somewhere and feels like a compromise so I waited.

Samsung 20 FE and One Plus Nord have been around for long and I don't want to regret not waiting a bit more. Ideally I would want FE's successor but that's nowhere in sight. Nord 2 might release soon and looks like I'll go with it as I've waited long now.

Somehow Iqoo and Vivo don't instill confidence in me as OS experience and brands. Xiaomi and Realme are still fine.

In an ideal world, I would want Google Pixel 6 tbh but that will also not come till next 3-4 months and that too globally.


Any suggestions from anyone?
