The precision, control, coordination and teamwork of the performers is wonderful to see. One to watch again!
(In the late 1950s, a touring Russian dance company performed the Berezka dance in London. In the audience was a BBC scriptwriter called Terry Nation. He was writing a children's TV science fiction series called Doctor Who. Nation was very impressed by the floating or gliding motion of the Berezka dancers and wanted his alien machines to move in a similar gliding fashion.
The machines were called Daleks; they move smoothly across the floor and even their shape is vaguely reminiscent of the Berezka dancers' dresses).
