Our popular summer camp programs have been in existence for over thirty-five years. Beginning here on the monastery grounds and later at rented facilities, Morning Star Camp for Catholic Girls (directed by the Sisters) and Montfort Catholic Boys Camps (directed by the Brothers) finally settled into a new and permanent home at Montfort Retreat in 2008.
Situated on a quiet lake, in the scenic New Hampshire woods, this 200 acre facility is the fruit of much sacrifice, labor, sweat and tears. The facility was planned, and built by the Brothers to fill the specific needs of the camps.
The summer months find the rustic yet gorgeous acreage of Montfort Retreat alive with campers from across the country, learning to live and love their Faith in these simple yet irresistible camp programs. The programs for young adults such as Morning Star Leadership Camp and Montfort Youth Retreat enrich the lives of seriously Catholic teens and have born fruit in society and with vocations.
The facility has also widened the horizons of evangelization possibilities for the Sisters and Brothers by the availability of various retreats for youth and adults through the spring, summer and fall.
