Glad this game is getting some attention! Hot tip for those starting the game: you'll get a tool to cut down shrubbery which are these vine like plants which give you mixed greens. I'm telling y'all this cuz baker bear's 1st quest is to gather a bunch of mixed greens and since I didn't know about the shrubs I ended up buying mixed greens from Mr. Kit who was only selling 1 mixed green a day so a quest I should have been able to complete that same day ended up taking me multiple. After over two months I also want to add, the team who made Cozy Grove feels more responsive. The amount of qualify of life changes from when it was first released it stunning. It also makes me a bit annoyed at Animal Crossing.

I consider Cozy grove completely different from animal crossing. Its a mini quest daily game. You also will not be able to “change” your island if you don’t like what an area looks like. No moving trees and plants when they are just in the way. Love both games but not the same... just have some similarities.

This looks pretty decent, but I'm saving my pennies for the eventual release of Rune Factory 5 because I like to occasionally kick the crap out of some stuff in my cutesy farming builders.

Glad to see this getting some love from Eurogamer! I took a chance and bought it at launch on Switch and have played it every day since (usually just before bed since you can finish all your tasks for the day in about an hour). There was an update yesterday, as well, which seems to have given us expanded storage earlier in the game (inventory management was driving me a little crazy up to that point) and a few other little improvements. Genuinely had a jaw-drop moment to see that you can exchange quartz gemstones for coins, though - I'd missed that so far in my game! So, ta muchly for the tip! :D

Cozy Grove is fun.. I have it.
However, after a while it can feel quite repetitive.
But I love it for unwinding & it’s apart of my “Cozy Games” collection this Fall season. 🍂

I was told to play this! My coworker is a big survivalist/camper/gamer lol. I love Animal Crossing but sadly it is too cartoony. This is artistic and homey.

I love that you don't actually have to have things in your pockets to craft with them or complete quests with them - it's fine if they're in your storage. It makes things so much easier.

Now with a bunch of updates, gemstones are actually the one thing that I always lack (and walnuts also). I use them for buying furnitures and decorations from Valentina. Old coins can be easily obtained buy selling baked goods.
