I got the RP5 just before Christmas and it was sitting on my desk because of the sheer intimidation I felt about having to set it up. I first watched someone else's guide (which claimed to be the fastest and easiest way) but it didn't work for me and it completely made me feel like I'm just not tech savvy enough. I saw your guide but seeing it was an hour long process it intimidated me further. BUT i finally sat through it and although it took me a few factory resets to start over, I finally have it working because of your in depth video man. I see why you are one of the top content creators for this niche topic. I can't thank you enough.

Thank you Russ for the thorough guide. I've bought a few ready to go retro consoles for fear of setting up my own but the experience hasn't been great and they never have the games I want. I used your written guide to set up my RP5 and I was very pleased with how it runs!

One key thing to remember is that ESDE game folders are CASE SENSITIVE!!
