Ron is joined by legendary score mixer Alan Meyerson, and the two engineers reveal how they processed and combined thousands of tracks of noise, dialog, music, ambience, sound effects and foley into an interstellar auditory experience.

Really interesting to see the score being mixed post like this. As media composers, we often get taught to basically mix the score as we're scoring, it's rarely told that the score often gets mixed in post to fit the sound like this, it allows Zimmer to write musically and then let the master mixers do their job on making everything fit together. Brilliant.

worst noise of sound film track i have every heard in decades, it was rubbish noise on screen that made no psychoacoustics sense at all, worst mix should be dumped by ampas along with that trash zimmer score, i had to wear earplugs for 3hrs and i walked out on the trash movie left my friends so they cab get their hearing damaged by an unsafe db trash movie
