Was definitely released in 85. My uncle owned an arcade near where I lived and the manager told me about a new game that was coming that had bike handlebars and you deliver papers on your bike. He showed me the picture of it in the catalogue and I thought it was the greatest thing ever being a 10 year old lol. Obviously it didn't disappoint once it arrived. One of the best arcade games of the 80's.

The game is a classic. I Always liked it when I was a kid at the arcade.

The Rampage is my favourite. Will you show it? I’d love to see!

I grew up in the 2000s long after arcades, but someone had donated a Paperboy cab to my Cub Scout building. There was always a line of kids at the machine and even some parents. My father became a pack leader, so my brother and I were there every weekend playing outside or playing paperboy for hours while my dad did papers and maintenence.

The game had a rough life. The monitor would fail to start sometimes, it was dim, the audio would sometimes be quiet or non-existant.

The building stopped being maintained and was eventually condemned. It flooded pretty bad. My parents agreed to let me get Paperboy since the place was being scrapped and we still had a key. By the time this happened, I was in high school, and my friend and I went to a trade school for electronics, so we wanted to restore the game. Unfortunately, somebody else came and took it before we got there. I knew this guy, and more than likely, it sits unrepaired in his basement to this day.

I looked into the games and know all about the Atari faults like the filter boards and power units and the weird monitor this game has. I don't know what to do with this information. I hope to own one some day.

TL;DR I had the chance to own a Paperboy cab but things fell apart and I miss it.
