Alexis Nicholas fought a perfect fight.

Kept circling out to Eersel's power side to bait his right hand cross and each time Eersel threw the cross, he angle shifted to the left and countered with the right roundhouse kick.

Also, Nicholas took away Eersels power in his punches by continually kicking Eersels left front foot. Left inside low kicks and Right outside low kicks all day. Beautiful.

In addition, that Nicholas's left switch kick to the liver was finding a home all day.

Eersels first problem in this fight was his continuous clinching which can't be a good look for the Ref and Judges.

Also, Eersel couldn't handle Nicholas's movement. That in and out style plus the angle shifts of Nicholas made it hard to land his signature knees.

First time watching Nicholas fight, but I have to admit as an Eersel fan. Eersel's game plan was off... Aggression and knees can't always win you fights, he needed to cut off the ring better, check those early low kicks, manage the distance better and feint more to draw the counter shots.

Congratulations to the new champ! I can't even hate anything about Nicholas, he fought beautifully 😁
