Hi Laura,

Great video, looking at ways to move away from item-level permissions. Just a question, is it possible to filter based on the group that someone is in? For example, you may have a field called department on the SharePoint list and you only want those who are in that department to see items for that department (and the creator of that list item). If it not pushing it too far, that person could be in more than one group so you would want to show items for that user from each group that person happens to be in.

Item-Level Permissions will always be required... security by obscurity is a terrible way of hiding information. Especially when it comes securing sensitive data.
