Cape Fox Hill Tram in Ketchikan Alaska

This video highlights the Cape Fox Hill Tram (also called Tramway or Funicular) in Ketchikan, Alaska is a quick and relatively inexpensive means to get a nice view of the area. For a couple bucks you can ride this tramway up and back. At the top of the hill is the Cape Fox Lodge which has a number of amenities including a couple restaurants, and there is even a small museum that is free to visitors. We have been to Ketchikan 5 or 6 times so on our trip this month, May, 2024, I didn’t book another excursion and wanted to take the tram up the hill, enjoy the view and a nice lunch. What they don’t let you know on any Ketchikan YouTubes or info sites that I found is that the tram has not operated for at least 2 years. SO DISAPPOINTING
