Godzilla and Rodan, borrowed from Earth and accompanied by Glenn, Fuji and Sakurai (Nick Adams, Akira Takarada, Jun Tazaki), are sent straight into battle with the monster thats been dominating The Controller (Yoshio Tsuchiya) and other Planet X'ers.

Godzilla’s victory dance was thought up by Yoshio Tsuchiya, who also plays the leader of Planet X. This dance was based on the "shê" gag pose, a trademark of the character Iyami from "Osomatsu-kun, " a popular manga at the time (ie, 1965) that was created by famous Japanese cartoonist Fujio Akatsuka.
Known for being a joker on set, especially towards his American co-star, Nick Adams, Tsuchiya suggested the idea to special-effects director Eiji Tsuburaya. Tsuburaya, who also had a habit of including humor in his works and was supportive of anthropomorphizing his daikaiju, approved of the idea. Director Ishiro Honda, special-effects cinematographer Sadamasa Arikawa, and Godzilla suit-performer Haruo Nakajima all objected to the idea. Teruyoshi Nakano, assistant director of special-effects, said audiences were divided over the dance.

As corny as this movie seems now, it brings joy to me because it was a part of my childhood. Remember seeing Godzilla and monster movies as a kid in NYC Saturday afternoons on channel 5, 9 and 11 in the late 70"s & early 80's and also the Kung Fu movies.

This is an interesting fight scene, as it as a unique setting (The only Godzilla fight on another planet)! And it is pretty well done, I am impressed with how they were able to make the monsters move! It is short, but sweet! Plus Godzilla dancing is pretty funny!
