Today i destroyed same SSD because of the fckn duct tape on the down side. Accidentally in glued improperly and while i was trying to pull it out cracked something in SSD 🤬 the bottom glue is too hard while the upper (where the radiator is) is almost falling off 😡
P.S. and why i MUST look for this guide on YouTube? Is it so hard to put couple guiding pictures on the box???

Be careful when mounting on the bottom plate, and it is better to immediately remove the factory thermal pad, because it is very sticky and with careless gluing it will be very difficult to turn off. It will also ruin the warranty sticker. Immediately change the bottom thermal pad to a regular one without glue. A very bad product.

Honestly had struggled to remove the ssd back out as it wasn’t aligned and sticker ripped out with the button heatsink. Wish there was a manual on the package 😕 otherwise great ssd for the price

Warning: DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED THERMAL PADS WITH THIS SSD(or any other).

Those thermal pads are EXTREMELY sticky, I repeat - THEY ARE EXTREMELY STICKY and if you didnt mount the radiator well and want to re-align it afterwards or if you plan to change the radiator later, you are in a world of pain, as the pad underneath the SSD will glue to the SSD's sticker and they almost merge into one(the sticker is also glued to the SSD).
I struggled almost an hour the un-glue the SSD from the underneath thermal-pad from the lower radiator. I thought the SSD will break trying to un-glue it, and of course the SSD sticker pealed in pieces - some were left on the SSD and some on the thermal-pad. Some pieces of the EXTREMELY sticky thermal-pad were left on the lower radiator and even with isopropyl alcohol they were very-very hard to remove - I had to scratch the paint form the radiator to remove the sticky thermal-pad.

At the end, trying to peel the thermal-pad from the radiator, it behave like an extremely resistant chewing-gum - very hard to peel and elastic, and tough to break.

I've never seen anything like that even remotely closely. These thermal pads are 100% glue.

ADATA is very scummy to put these pads to any SSD.

Doesn't work for me like it's pictured in the clip here. It's simply impossible to push-click the heatsink. Instead, one can slide the heatsink along the metal slides. But then you finish with a completely removed thermal pad because it gets removed as you slide the heatsink. That's awkward. You should've provided the short instruction with the drive or at least included a link to this video. Terrible.

Хотелось бы задать производителю несколько вопросов:
1. Почему радиатор не установлен сразу на заводе? Почему покупатель должен сам заниматься этими упражнениями?
2. Почему на чипах памяти гарантийная наклейка, которая будет мешать охлаждению?
3. Почему в комплекте нет ни одной бумажки с инструкцией по установке радиатора и самого накопителя?
4. Написано, что совместим с PS5, но скорость чтения консоль определила менее 5400 Мб/сек, хотя требуется не менее 5500 Мб/сек.
5. Почему половинки радиатора не защищены от сдвига друг относительно друга? При установке в ту же PS5 если даже слегка надавить на основную часть корпуса радиатора, то он сдвинется.

Да, возможно, цена конкурентная, но впечатление от продукта сильно смазывается такими мелкими недочётами. Мелочи решают всё.

man my ps5 isn’t even reading the ssd, when i turn my game on there’s no option to format the ssd.

bei meinem U-Profilkörper war ein selbstklebender Streifen (ohne klebeisolierende Schutzfolie) drauf, NVMe blöd angefasst, die reingefallen, gleich angeklebt, begrenzt verwendbar. Mich stört ehrlich gesagt auch das überhaupt keine Montageanleitung / Userguide per einfachster Bebilderung in oder auf der Packung vorhanden ist. - Die NVMe selbst finde ich aber schon ganz gut.
