Pinehurst is so unique. What I love is that sure, it is exacting, but rarely is the punishment excessive. Every decent golfer can recover from a bunker or short grass with ease, and worse than bogey takes a real screw-up

Bryson nearly getting chinned by that red flag is symbolic in the sense that he is the charging bull and the red flag represents the matador he has to chase down, in this clip he went right through the red flag and this means Bryson will eventually catch the matador and win the US Open for a 2nd time.
