THE best benefits? But Trimet doesn't provide Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)? I live in NE Portland, and thinking about working as a Bus Operator for Trimet, but friends and relatives are telling me they don't have PERS. However C-Tran in Vancouver does. I don''t understand. Edited: As a public employee in Oregon, why no PERS for Trimet employees?
