A very unique, but not particularly modern amp, that needs a lot of help from a boost pedal. TS808 just didn't have enough push to get the amp were it needed to be, but luckily with the Fortin 33 almost dimed it finally got some nice saturation while cleaning up muddy bottom end. A peppers dirty tree works just as well and even a boss Ge7 cranked up works if not a little noisy.

The Randall RG100ES lineage of amps don't have alot of gain but have the perfect voicing for metal.

What pickups are you using? I’m using fishman and emg and with my dirty tree it is clipping the input of boss ns2, decimator 2, cheap rowin noise gate and finally a fortin zuul. I’m guessing with the g string you’re having no such problems with your very similar 33?
