Street Fighter 6 - the BEST thing about it

Street Fighter 6 (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) is a great jumping in point for players unfamiliar with the long running fighting game franchise. Let's talk.

Its crazy how spot on this is. As a casual player that enjoys fighting games but is no good due to how technical it can be, this is the first fighting game where it really teaches how to be technical without it being overly complicated. I'm having a lot of fun especially online which is a first for a fighting game

If you put the settings on performance mode, the world tour fights will be 60fps.

Can't say I'm a fighting game fan but I've played just about every single street fighter game and this doesn't disappoint but I will say they need to fix the 30fps in the world tour mode when entering a fight.

The generation this one is geared towards is disconnected to the franchise but the Final Fight love here is incredible as a long time fan. It feels like a weird sequel in a way letting me see what happened after all these years.

And funny enough all those punks that caught hands years ago are STILL on ass.

This story mode made me remember things like the Def Jam FFNY campaign, or how dumb and fun some of those 2000s WWE (and others) storylines got with your abomination of a created character as the center piece.
And that is a good thing, games have to be FUN before anything else.

I love fighters but I'm not very good at them. I usually just play MK. But SF sounds good with their tutorials and all that.

I used to be a pretty good Tekken and Soul Edge player way back when but these skills are not like cycling and not playing for a few years can really mess up with your level. Still, I do enjoy fighting games to tyhis day and I'm very happy this year shapes up to be a great one for the genre starting strong with SF6.
