It’s not exactly only the tune that is different btw Elantra N and K5/Sonata engine. K5/sonata has the new cylinder head with cvvd.

Kirk, u r doing a great job here. I think it's time u to drop the constraints of limiting yourself to 🇯🇵 and 🇰🇷 cars. U should be a car journalist. Very nice review Kirk. At first when I got my Accord with a 10-speed I did not like the button shifters but now that I've owned it for over a year now I think it's pretty cool 😂

Been trying to buy the K5, but every Kia delivery to the dealer got snap up quickly so finally putting down a reservation for one. The good thing about Kia is that they sell their cars at MSRP while many other brands are marking up sky high. Toyota dealers don't even show the MSRP price anymore, but call for price. The LX model cost $25, 560 and cheaper than many older used cars with less tech.

I much prefer exhaust tips that terminate under the car. That way you don’t have to deal with discolored body panels.

Kirk I think you made an error regarding android auto not being wireless. I rented this car for a week and my phone did mirror via Bluetooth.
I think this car is easily best in class. I loved it except for the headlight illumination. It was too dim in my opinion. Its a great road trip car
