Terracotta Warriors in Xian, China With Five Kids!

We went to Xian to see the famous Terracotta Warriors with all five kids!

Did you know there is more to their site than just the Warriors? This is basically the underground funeral tomb of the greatest emperor of China. It is kind of like an Egyptian Pyramid underground. Most are still undisturbed and are protected by law!⁣ The warriors, a greater-than-life-sized army patterned after REAL people, are incredible to see. They are mostly in pieces and slowly being put back together, like a giant puzzle. This was all discovered by some farmers digging a well and now is a MASSIVE complex and museum.

⁣There are over 600 sites and only 10 have been uncovered so far. There are not just warriors underground, but dancers, performers, etc. Scientists believe the emperor himself floats (or did) on a river of mercury. Amazing!

You have a great channel, I'm surprised that there aren't more likes and subscribes.
And what a great trip to China. Big and small warriors, puppet shows, ice cream for breakfast, oh my! It looked like fun. I haven't made it over to Asia just yet, as flights are pretty pricey. I think I'm a little scared of culture shock, as well.
