Equinoxe 2 effect - Proof of Concept

I was asked if I knew how this effect was made, in Jean Michel Jarre's "Equinoxe Part 2", I had an idea so I tried to find out.
I couldn't make it work on EMS Synthi, but I still think it was made on that, or VCS3. I ended up recreating it on ARP2600, this could have been done in 1978 too.

Made in ReasonStudio with Arturia 2600V.
Pitch, speed and volume routed to my Studiologic SL88 Grand's joystick.

This sounds great. There are loads of great little sound effects through Equinoxe. I would think the ARP 2500 and 2600 would have been used for many, as well as the Synthi/VCS3.

I clicked this page with sound, but then suddenly had to do something very fast (forgot opening this page with sound). I started focusing on the the other with text and suddenly your synth sound came while I forgot I clicked. Fuck I was sucked and didn't knew what I was hearing lol. My brain wasn't ready for the sound at all because I didn't even read waht this is about. I thought it was a damn animal behind me lol. But honestly!: The sound is amazing and it sounds excact like Jarre used. Thank you. Everything you do here, we are grateful for here in Greenland.

Fantastic work done here, often thought about how he did the "out of phase" drop you just created, the left right effect?Stereo delay..?

It was done on a VCS3, but those are out of range. I'll try this on a BARP2600

Rendez-vous IV is my all-time favourite tune. Do you have any idea of what synth made the little robotic vocal sounding parts in that tune?

Well done! Btw, do you have a real Synthi or an emulator?
